What about the Staff?

A permanent staff of eight to ten experienced counselors, youth leaders, and accompanying doctors and nurses are housed with the 20 children attending each session. In the event that medical care needs to be administered, our medical staff and the staff at Aspen Valley Hospital are on 24-hour call and only minutes away from the children's lodging and activities. The administration and fundraising staff are also permanent positions.

How Can I Volunteer?

The Mission of The Silver Lining Foundation is to provide "lifetime" opportunities for children with cancer that will enhance the quality of their lives.

Aside from our current staff, our volunteer/employment program is designed to involve past participants who have the insight and experience that in turn achieves the mission of The Silver Lining Foundation.

Volunteering at your local children's hospital would be a wonderful step in helping these kids and we encourage you to look into the possibilities in your area.
